The second daughter of an incorrigible liar and an undiscovered genius, Kern Windwraith grew up in Canada, Australia, Ghana, Iran, and Venezuela. Her itinerant childhood gave her a passion for stories told and untold and an enduring curiosity about the twisty little secrets that lie beneath the surface of ordinary lives. Her short fiction has appeared in 101 Fiction and is upcoming in The Forge. Her poetry has appeared in The Apricot Press, The Literary Hatchet, and Unlost Journal. She is currently querying her first novel.
